Purpose. To summarize the estimates of effect use potassium-competitive proton pump inhibitors in pharmacotherapy algorithms for patients with peptic ulcer disease, GERD on treatment outcomes. Material and methods. The most large-scale (as a rule) publications last five years devoted to problem under consideration are analyzed. search was carried out by keywords Pubmed information database (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov). Findings. Potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs), comparison «traditional» drugs this class (proton inhibitors), have advantages from clinical pharmacoeconomic point view both disease (in particular, as part eradication therapy) gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
